Aconia Casting is a small, family-run jewellery manufacturing company that has been serving the UK jewellery trade for over 40 years. Founded in 1982 by John McCabe, who began his career on the bench and in workshops across Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, Aconia has grown from a traditional casting company into a modern, full-service manufacturing partner offering everything from design to finished product.
Since 1982, Aconia Casting has been part of the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, working alongside jewellers, designers and retailers across the UK. We specialise in high-quality precious metal casting and jewellery manufacturing, combining traditional skills with modern techniques to bring our customers’ ideas to life.
Our team remains intentionally small and close-knit, which allows us to provide hands-on, responsive service to every customer. We’re proud to blend decades of experience with a forward-thinking, youthful approach — actively bringing in and training new talent from the School of Jewellery to help shape the next generation of manufacturing professionals.
